Is your outdoor workwear really waterproof?

Yes. Our outdoor workwear is built with advanced waterproof fabrics, and every waterproof claim is verified by testing rather than assumed.
What makes it waterproof:
- Waterproof and breathable membranes: we use 2-layer, 2.5-layer and 3-layer laminates, with waterproof ratings typically from 5,000 mm to 20,000 mm+ depending on the garment's intended use.
- Durable water repellent finish: the outer face sheds rain so the fabric does not wet out, and fluorine-free DWR options are available for buyers with stricter environmental requirements.
- Taped seams: stitching is the weakest point of any waterproof jacket, so critical seams are sealed with tape or sew-free bonding instead of being left exposed.
- Water-resistant zips and storm flaps: used on main closures and chest pockets where water ingress is most likely.
- Adjustable protection: storm hoods, hem drawcords and adjustable cuffs keep water out in driving rain.
The rating matters: light showers need a lower specification than all-day mountain rain, and we will recommend the right level for your market and price point. Functional tests and reports can be provided for key parameters, and seam integrity is checked during in-process QC.
Two practical points when specifying: waterproofing is only as good as its weakest point, so seam taping, zip protection and cuff design matter as much as the fabric rating; and the rating should be matched to real exposure, because an all-day mountain shell is unnecessary for a city commuter.
