Can I get exclusive rights to a design, style or my market?

Exclusivity has two levels, and it is worth separating them:

  • Design exclusivity (standard): any style we develop for you, or that you provide, is exclusive to you - we do not reproduce it for other clients or publish it. This applies by default to every custom programme.
  • Market or channel exclusivity (negotiable): territorial exclusivity, category exclusivity or retail-channel restrictions can be agreed in writing, sized to volume commitments, forecast continuity and the product programme scope. These are commercial terms, so they are shaped per project rather than offered as a fixed package.

How to approach it: bring your target markets, annual volume plan and the styles you want protected, and we will return a written exclusivity proposal as part of the manufacturing agreement - including what happens on discontinuation, so rights do not lapse ambiguously.

Note on catalogue styles: existing UniOuter stock and catalogue designs are open to multiple buyers; exclusivity applies to custom-developed styles.
