In December 2022, amidst the unique backdrop of the pandemic, we embarked on a journey of profound significance—a visit to our European clients. Our clients specialize in the sale of outdoor workwear, medical workwear, safety workwear, and other products. For three years, due to the global pandemic, face-to-face interactions had become exceptionally cherished. As the situation gradually improved, we decided to seize the moment and personally visit our long-unseen clients. Despite the numerous challenges of international travel at that time, our conviction was firm: in the most difficult moments, it is even more important to deliver warm greetings and steadfast support to our clients.
First Stop: Copenhagen – A Reunion Across Time and Space
As our plane landed in Copenhagen, the chill of winter greeted us, but it could not conceal our excitement. Our clients from IJH A/S, whom we hadn't seen for three years, were already waiting in their office. Our reunion felt like bridging a gap in time. During our conversation, they expressed gratitude for the continuous online support provided by our Chinese partners during the past years. This personal visit further demonstrated the resilience and warmth of our cooperation.
Second Stop: Viborg – Detailed Communication, Enhanced Trust
From Copenhagen, we headed north to the picturesque Viborg. Our clients at NYBO, a family business, value details and long-term planning. Thus, our visit focused on in-depth product discussions and strategic exchanges. The conference room was filled with documents and drawings, which was precisely the working style our team enjoyed—addressing needs directly and jointly seeking the best solutions. Face-to-face communication strengthened our mutual trust and planted new seeds for future collaboration.
Third Stop: Thisted – Warmth in the Farthest North
Thisted, a charming town in the northernmost part of Denmark, boasts beautiful scenery but also harsh winter winds. In such a remote and tranquil place, our visit was particularly special. Our client, CARSTEN, was surprised to see a Chinese company visiting during such a challenging time. We have known each other for over 30 years, and our meeting was like a reunion of old friends, transcending the ordinary business relationship.
Final Stop: Odense – A Fulfilling Conclusion in Denmark
After bidding farewell to Thisted, we returned to Odense for the final stop of our Danish itinerary. As the hometown of the fairy tale master Hans Christian Andersen, we hoped to paint a win-win cooperation blueprint for our client, STEENP. During a relaxed yet efficient business dinner, we discussed future market expansion plans in detail and finalized several important cooperation details. In the warm atmosphere, our client expressed full trust in us, and we once again felt the profound partnership that the pandemic could not sever.
Second Leg: Continuation and Deepening in the Netherlands
Transitioning from Denmark to the Netherlands marked a new phase of our European journey. In the Netherlands, we focused on visiting several new clients while also revisiting old ones. Dutch clients are known for their pragmatism and efficiency, and face-to-face negotiations made our cooperation plans more targeted. This trip not only solidified existing relationships but also opened up new cooperation opportunities, laying a solid foundation for future market layout.
Conclusion: Persistence Amidst Challenges, Win-Win Through Cooperation
Amidst the pandemic's gloom, the significance of this European journey surpassed our expectations. Through our client visits, we deeply understood that only through sincerity and action can we truly impress clients and consolidate the foundation of cooperation. In a time when international travel had not fully recovered, our visits instilled confidence in our clients and filled us with anticipation for future collaboration.
This special client visit was not only a token of appreciation for our partners but also a testament to our persistence and commitment. Moving forward amidst challenges and achieving win-win through cooperation—this is our belief and the firm promise we convey to every client.
